Year 2

Summer Term. We have blast off!

Year 2 and 5 planting the seeds from space.

Our exciting new topic for the Spring Term is........

We had great fun making our own artefacts and experiencing what life was like at the time of the Great Fire in 1666. We were bakers, metal workers, weavers, chandlers, seamstresses and perfumers. We had great fun at The Barber Surgeon and also at the Apothecary where we were able to grind herbs and deal with visitors seeking cures for various ailments.

We are having lots of fun reading a variety of books at Whitnash Library for Book Week.

One day we could be famous!

In Year 2 we use our writing board to make our sentences more exciting!

The famous person we are finding out about this week is Louis Braille.

Our class reader is The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson

Our class trip to Hatton Adventure World

Year 2 had a special visitor today. Falstaff the guide dog.

This week the famous person we are looking at is Florence Nightingale also known as 'The Lady with the Lamp.'

We are having fun building and programming a mechanical goal keeper.

Today we dressed up as a famous person. Can you guess who we are?
