The School Day
The start of the day
For all pupils, school begins at 8.55am.
Reception and Key Stage One pupils are asked to wait on the Key Stage One playground with their parents until the bell rings at 8.55am when a member of staff will invite pupils in.
Key Stage Two pupils are allowed onto the Key Stage Two playground from 8.40am in the morning. They will be supervised by a member of staff on the playground from 8.50am. Please do not send them in any earlier than 8.40am, as they will not be supervised.
If you need to make arrangements for an earlier start to your child's day, please speak to Mrs Darani in Kid's Club.
Each class begins their day with a prayer. Maths and English is taught each morning, however times of lessons differ according to each class.
Reception and Key Stage One have break time from 10.35 to 10.55am on Monday to Thursday, and from 10.45 to 11.05am on Friday. They also have an afternoon break from 2.30 to 2.45pm.
Key Stage Two break from 10.45 to 11.05am each day.
Reception begin lunch at 12pm, followed by Year 1 at 12.10pm and Year 2 at 12.15pm.
Key Stage Two break for lunch at 12.25pm.
Lunch time ends for all classes at 1.15pm.
The end of the day
School finishes for all pupils at 3.15pm. Children in Reception to Year 3 are collected from their outside classroom doors. Children in Years 4 to 6 are sent out independently.
