The School Day

The Start of The Day

For all pupils, school begins at 8.45am.

Reception and Key Stage One pupils are asked to wait on the Key Stage One playground with their parents until the bell rings at 8.45am when a member of staff will invite pupils in.

Key Stage Two pupils are allowed onto the Key Stage Two playground from 8.35am in the morning. They will be supervised by a member of staff on the playground from 8.40am. Please do not send them in any earlier than 8.35am, as they will not be supervised. 

If you need to make arrangements for an earlier start to your child's day, please speak to Mrs Darani in Kids Club.

Each class begins their day with a prayer. Maths and English is taught each morning, however times of lessons differ according to each class.

Break Time

This break runs from 10.40 - 11am each day.

Lunch time

Lunchtime begins from 12pm for Reception and Key Stage One, and ends at 1pm.

Lunchtime begins from 12.15pm for Key Stage Two, and ends at 1.15pm.

The end of the day

School finishes for all pupils at 3.15pm. Children in Reception to Year 3 are collected from their outside classroom doors. Children in Years 4 to 6 are sent out independently.

School hours throughout the week are currently 32.5 hours per week.
