But most importantly, you will have the amazing JJ to guide you throughout the year. One pupil each week will be lucky enough to take him home and look after him for the weekend. Your teachers will be looking for someone who works hard and shows good manners throughout the week and that person will take JJ home.

We went to the Kingsley School sports field to take part in a Key Stage 1 Agility event. We enjoyed sprinting, throwing the foam javelin and working as a team. Thank you to Mrs Roberts and Mrs Friend for helping us. Storm was chosen to represent the school for a balloon release because of the effort shown.

Science Week

Year 1 created rainbows with Skittles.

The children placed skittles around the edge of a plate. They them poured cold, warm and hot water into the middle of the plates until it reached the skittle. We then waited for the rainbow to form. We thought that the warm or hot water would be the best but in fact it was the cold water!
